Cafe Unit House Rules We want you to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Please review these house rules carefully before booking. By booking the property, you acknowledge and agree to follow them. Check-In Standard check-in is 4:00 PM. Early check-in is not guaranteed and must be approved by us in advance. Third-party booking sites may allow you to select a preferred arrival time, but this does not mean early check-in has been approved. If our cleaning schedule allows, we are happy to accommodate a 2:00 PM early check-in for a $40 fee. Please message us in advance to request early access. Checkout Standard checkout is 11:00 AM. Late checkout must be approved in advance. Unauthorized late checkout may result in the following charges: 30 minutes or more after checkout: $75 Remaining in possession of the property for more than 2 hours after checkout: up to the cost of an additional night at the listing's full nightly rate Payment of a late checkout charge does not extend the reservation or grant possession of the property for an additional night. No Parties or Gatherings Parties, events, disruptive gatherings, and unapproved visitors are not permitted. This includes gatherings involving guests who were not included in the reservation. A serious violation may result in: A $200 additional charge Cancellation of the reservation Removal from the property Charges for resulting damage, excessive cleaning, or other documented costs The property uses noise-monitoring technology to help prevent disruptive gatherings and excessive noise. Please respect the property, neighboring businesses, and surrounding community. Maximum Occupancy Maximum occupancy is 7 people at any time, including overnight guests and visitors. All guests must be included in the reservation or approved by us in advance. Unauthorized guests or occupancy exceeding the maximum may result in a $75 charge per unauthorized person and may result in cancellation of the reservation. Paying an additional guest charge does not authorize an otherwise unapproved guest to remain at the property. Cleaning The cleaning fee covers normal turnover cleaning after a respectful stay. Before checkout, please: Wash or load used dishes Place used towels in the designated area or washer Dispose of trash properly Leave the property reasonably tidy You are not expected to professionally clean the home before leaving. However, excessive mess, trash, stains, food, or other conditions requiring cleaning substantially beyond a normal turnover may result in an additional $150 excessive cleaning charge. Unwashed dishes requiring additional cleaning may result in a $20 charge. No Smoking or Vaping Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the property. Please also avoid smoking in a manner that allows smoke or odor to enter the home. Evidence of smoking or vaping inside the property may result in a $200 per-day smoking charge, plus additional documented cleaning or repair costs when applicable. Serious smoking violations may also result in cancellation of the reservation. Parking The reservation includes two free parking spaces in the building's parking lot. If you require parking for more than two vehicles, please contact us in advance. An additional parking pass may be available for $20. Please follow all posted parking rules and display any required parking pass clearly. Guests are responsible for towing or related charges resulting from unauthorized parking or failure to display a required parking pass. Security Devices and Tampering Please do not tamper with, disable, cover, unplug, remove, or interfere with: Exterior security cameras Wi-Fi or internet equipment Noise-monitoring devices Smoke or carbon monoxide alarms Smart locks Deadbolts Keypads Thermostats Other property safety or security equipment Intentional tampering may result in cancellation of the reservation and charges for any resulting damage or service required to restore the equipment. Security Camera and Noise Monitor Disclosure There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home. The property has four exterior security cameras, located: At the front of the building On the west side of the building On the east side of the building At the rear of the building These exterior cameras may detect motion and record video and audio. The property also uses disclosed noise-monitoring technology to monitor sound levels and help prevent excessive noise and unauthorized gatherings. Noise monitors do not record conversations. These devices are used for property security, guest safety, and protection of the surrounding community. Respectful Communication We are committed to treating our guests respectfully and expect the same treatment toward our hosts, cleaners, maintenance personnel, and other team members. Threatening, abusive, harassing, or repeatedly disrespectful behavior toward our team may result in the reservation being escalated and, when appropriate, terminated. If there is an issue during your stay, please communicate with us so we have an opportunity to help. Laws and Safety Guests must follow all applicable local, state, and federal laws. Illegal activity, violence, theft, intentional property damage, trespassing, drug-related criminal activity, stalking, or threats to guests, neighbors, hosts, or the property may be reported to the appropriate authorities. No Pets Pets are not permitted unless specifically approved in writing before arrival. An unauthorized pet may result in a $150 per-day charge and removal of the animal from the property. Payment of this charge does not authorize an otherwise unapproved pet to remain at the property. Service animals are handled separately in accordance with applicable law and booking-platform policy. Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals Qualified service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law and booking-platform policy. When permitted, we may ask only: Whether the animal is required because of a disability What work or task the animal has been trained to perform Guests are not required to provide certification, vaccination records, or other documentation establishing that an animal is a service animal. Guests traveling with a service animal are responsible for ensuring that the animal: Remains under the handler's control Is housebroken Is not left alone at the property without prior approval Is cleaned up after promptly Does not cause damage to the property Guests remain responsible for damage caused by a service animal beyond ordinary wear and tear. Emotional support animals are handled according to applicable law and the policy of the platform through which the reservation was made. Final Agreement These rules are intended to protect the property, neighboring businesses, our community, and the experience of every guest. Communication is important. If you have questions about a rule or need an accommodation, please contact us before or during your stay. Serious or repeated violations of the house rules may result in cancellation of the reservation, removal from the property when permitted, and charges for documented damages or additional services. By booking the Cafe Unit, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to these house rules.

Guests enjoy access to the entire private apartment, including a private entrance. Self-check-in is available via smart lock so you can easily come and go at your convenience. Free parking is available for up to 2 car(s).
